our Qualifactions

We are certified practitioners through MagnaWave and Association of PEMF Professionals (AOPP). This means that we have studied and tested through a certification course that is specific to our machines (MagnaWave), as well as a second course that is specific to PEMF technology and has no ties to any brand of PEMF machines (AOPP).

This dual certification allows us to be highly educated to best serve you and your loved ones through PEMF sessions.

pUlsed electromagnetic fields

What is PEMF?

PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) helps the body to heal itself naturally by working at a cellular level to help "recharge" unhealthy cells with improved oxygenation and circulation, returning the cells to their normal function and decreasing inflammation within the body. It is a great alternative therapy that is noninvasive and does not require medication!

Possible Benefits

Because PEMF works with the body, the possible benefits are nearly endless. Some of the most common benefits include

  • relief of chronic pain and sore muscles
  • reduced recovery time
  • tendon and ligament repair
  • enhanced performance
  • increased energy
  • improved immunity
  •  PEMF sessions may also help to relieve the symptoms of colic, EIPH/bleeders, and ulcers.
  • It may also help pull abscesses to the surface quickly.

What to expect

Typical Sessions

Typical sessions will range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes for people, horses and larger animals; 15 minutes to 30 minutes for pets and smaller animals.  Each session is tailored to the person or animal so times will vary.

Sessions should be done at a comfortable intensity level.  This is different for everyone and can even change from session to session.   Regardless of intensity level, the pulse will still travel through the body up to 16 inches.

It is typical for parts of the body to move or "twitch" during the session.  This is due to the reverberations from the pulse running into resistance that does not allow it to pass through the body (i.e. lactic acid, muscle knots)

The First Session

At first, most animals are typically unsure about the machine and the clicking-like sound that it makes.  Time will be taken to make sure that the animal is comfortable with being touched with the coils and being near the machine while it is on.  Magority of aniamls settle quickly and relax once the session has actually started.

Our number one priority is safety, please allow for extra time during the first couple of sessions to ensure that everyone involved is comfortable.

Important information

Herxheimer Reaction

The Herxheimer reaction is similar to a detox and is not uncommon to experience it after the first session.  MagnaWave can help quickly push toxins out of the body resulting in dehydration, fever, chills, or muscle cramps.  It is important for animals to have access to fresh and clean water, and for people to make sure to drink a lot of water to help replenish what has been pushed out of the body.  This will help prevent or lessen the symptoms of the reaction.

When Not to MagnaWave

MagnaWave in general is safe.  Because it creates an electromagnetic field, it can drain batteries.  If you have any battery operated implanted devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators, it is important to not have sessions or be within 6 feet while the machine is in use.  The batteries of hearing aids, phones, key fobs, and computers can also be drained and it is important to keep them 6 feet away.

There is currently not enough evidence to know if MagnaWave has a positive or negative effect on pregnancy.  As a general rule we do not MagnaWave on any person or animal that is pregnant.

If you or your animal has any of the following it is important to speak with your Doctor or Vet prior to MagnaWave sessions - we do not want to interfere with current medical treatments.

  • Recent organ transplant
  • Cancer
  • Heart Stents
  • External metal fixators
  • External metal screws
  • Upcoming surgeries
  • History of blood clots
  • Deep Vein Thrombosis
  • Medical Treatments

Remember: DRINK A LOT OF WATER!
