We are certified through School of Applied Integrative Therapy; a 500 hour course that covers equine anatomy, physiology, ethics, massage strokes and techniques.
Each horse responds to massage in their own way, and the response from one session to the next can vary greatly. Our number one priority is safety, so time will be taken to ensure that everyone involved is comfortable. Typical massages will be between 60 and 90 minutes.
Every session is unique! Our equine massages are influenced by many techniques including Swedish strokes, sports massage, acupressure, myofascial release, and others. We are continuously researching and learning more techniques to better serve your horse!
Safety is our number one concern. If your horse has any of the following it is important to notify us prior to the massage. In some cases, specific areas can be avoided during the massage; in other cases it may be best to speak with your Vet and reschedule.
**Please note, we do not perform equine massages for any medical purposes unless recommended and over seen by your veterinarian**
